Merry Christmas!!!

It's hard to believe it is almost the end of another year! What a year 2012 has been! Full of change and excitement! Here is a year in review for us:

January 2012: We found the house we wanted in Macomb after months of searching and even found a buyer for our home in Oneida!

February 2012: We finalized the sale of our home and found ourselves moving in temporarily with Kevin's parents until we could move into our new home in Macomb. I even got to go on a little trip with my mom, Linda, and Grandma Norma to Las Vegas! Aunt Amy joined us as well.

March/April 2012: We signed on our new home March 15th. Zack turned 6 years old complete with a bowling themed birthday party. Zack started at Lincoln Elementary in Macomb.
June: Kevin and I celebrated our 7th year of marriage and Tommy Anders turned 2 years old! We also took a small family vacation to St. Louis and enjoyed the Magic House, zoo, and swimming.

July 2012: We got to enjoy some time with my cousin Alex from Palm Springs, CA. He worked for Pioneer where Kevin works helping them with the corn pollination. I was kinda bummed to turn 31 this year. 30 didn't bother me...but 31 does!

August 2012: As the summer wound down Zack got ready to head back to school as a first grader. His teacher is Mrs. Ramos and we just love her!

September 2012: As every other fall harvest found it's way upon us again. I enjoyed going to ride in the combine with Kevin. It is quite a different experience riding in a research combine than a normal combine. The boys also enjoyed this. It was also nice to know that Kevin only had a 15 minute drive home.

October 2012: Zack is in full swing at school. Tommy is talking up a storm. We have made some truly great friends here in Macomb. I joined a MOPS (Mom's of Preschoolers) group and have met many moms. They are a great support system.

November 2012: Thanksgiving time already??? LOL! Not a whole lot happening in November!

December 2012: This was a busy month! Zack had his first Christmas program at school. He actually was able to stay up on the stage and not cry. He even danced a little! We took the train up to Kewanee so that we could spend Christmas Eve in Bishop Hill. The boys received many wonderful gifts as did mom and dad! I even got a new zoom lens for my Cannon camera so I can take more pictures and blog more!  We are hosting our first New Year's Eve Party this year! It will be a great time!
